Community Partners

Community Partners support the mission of PA WIC and the needs of growing families through connections made statewide or directly with PA residents in their community. WIC participants benefit from connections to care beyond the clinic.

What Commitment is Required of Community Partners?

Acting as a WIC Community Partner is as simple as providing outreach information in a public space or mentioning the WIC Program to a family in need. Help PA WIC connect with families by educating your community, friends or staff. See below for community resources.

Do Our Target Populations Overlap?

WIC serves the following Pennsylvania Residents:

  • Pregnant women.
  • Breastfeeding women, for up to one year postpartum.
  • Women up to six months postpartum, who are not breastfeeding.
  • Infants and children up to 5 years old.
  • Foster, adoptive, and temporary guardianship families.
